Mary Galdi

Mary R . Galdi , 96, of Stoneham and formerly Woburn, died at her home on Thursday, May 10.

Born in Boston on December 16, 1915, she was daughter of the late Salvatore and Rosalia Palermo.

Mrs. Galdi was a graduate of St. Clement's High School in Somerville, class of 1934. She was a member of St. Patrick Church. Mrs. Galdi enjoyed playing the piano and the organ. She enjoyed crossword Puzzles and watching the Red Sox. Mary was retired from Liberty Mutual Insurance Company.

Mrs. Galdi was the wife of the late Alfred C. Galdi . She was the mother of Mary R . Galdi of Stoneham. Mary was the sister of the late Joseph Palermo. She is also survived by her granddaughter Amy Galdi O'Neil and her husband Bill of Middleton and a great grandson Perry Galdi Triantos.

Her funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment, Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Memorial contributions may be made to the MSPCA-ANGELL, Attn: Donations, 350 S. Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130. Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald – Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St. Stoneham.
