Mary Spinosa

Mary Spinosa, 92, of Reading died Thursday October 22 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Born in Somerville on May 28, 1917 she was the daughter of the late Augustino and Elenora (Toscano) Spinosa.

Mrs. Spinosa was raised in Somerville. She was a devoted family woman and a member of St. Joseph Church in Wakefield.

Mrs. Spinosa was the wife of the late Erasmo Spinosa. Mother of Civitina Chumbley of FL, Nora Airey of NH, Mary Spinosa-Wilson of Acton and the late Pasquale J. Spinosa and Civita Spinosa. Sister of Frank Spinosa of Somerville, Anthony Spinosa of FL, Albert Spinosa of Burlington and the late Tina Dussi and John and Alfred Spinosa. Mother-in-law of Joanna L. (Capone) Spinosa of Wakefield. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield Wednesday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, 4-8 p.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
