Mary Surrette

Mary Lou Surrette , 86, a life long Wakefield resident died on Saturday, August 23 at the Epoch Senior Health Care Center in Melrose.

Born in Wakefield on May 13, 1928 she was the daughter of the late John and Anna L. (Melvin) Surrette .

Ms. Surrette was a life long member of St. Joseph Parish in Wakefield. She was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Ms. Surrette had enjoyed walking.

She is survived by her cousins: Susan Doucette of Wakefield, Janet O'Brien of Reading, Carol Roche of Framingham, Cynthia Tolley of Waterford, Maine and Marilyn Regan of Stoneham and her family.

Funeral from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Tuesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10am. There are no calling hours. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary Lou's name to St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield, MA 01880
