Mary Fama

Mary T . Fama , 84 a lifelong resident of Stoneham died Monday July 11, at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital.
Born in Woburn, January 17, 1927 she was the daughter of the late George E. and Catherine (Flynn) Hooper.

Mary was a graduate of St. Patrick High School. She retired over 22 years ago as the Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent of the Stoneham Public Schools. She had also been the Librarian at the Junior High School. Mary was a member of St. Patrick Parish. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family at their summer home in Hampton Beach, NH.

Mary is survived by her husband Maurice J. Fama . Her Children; Dianne Sheridan and husband Charles of Westford, Linda Daigle and husband John of Sanbornton, NH, and Michael Fama and wife Paula of Marshfield.2 sisters; Rita Kelley of Stoneham, and Katherine Covell of Kingston, NH. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren, Brian, Steven, Patrick, Emma, Emily, and Andrew, and a great grandson Jack.

Funeral from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham, on Thursday at 9 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home Wednesday 3-7 p.m. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
