MaryEllen Dillon

Mary Ellen Dillon, 61, of Wakefield died on Tuesday, March 17 at her residence.

Born in New York, New York on July 19, 1953, she was the daughter of the late John P. and Eileen M. (Cooney) Dillon.

Mary Ellen was a graduate of Holy Family High School in Long Island, New York. She was a retired International Sales Representative for Fed-Ex. Mary Ellen had been a Wakefield resident since 1984.

She is survived by her daughter Meaghan E. Blaikie of Groveland and her boyfriend Jonathan Root, her brother Thomas Dillon and his wife Sharon of Barrington, RI and her three nephews; Sam, Jack and Lucas Dillon.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Sunday from1-4pm. Funeral service in the Funeral Home on Sunday at 4pm. A graveside service, will be held at the Pine Hill Cemetery, 815 Willard St., Quincy on Tuesday at 11:30am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary Ellen's name to the Lupus Foundation of American Inc., P.O. Box 418629, Boston, MA 02241-8629 or to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309.
