, 79, a lifelong resident of Wakefield died Sunday June 17th at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
Born in Worcester on April 11, 1933, he was the son of the late Clifford C. and Winifred F. (Connaire)

Hildreth
was a member of St. Joseph Church in Wakefield. He had also been a member of the West Side Social Club and both the Reading and Wakefield Y.M.C.A.s.

was a retired employee for Raytheon
Mr.
Hildreth
was the brother of Brendan "Sluggo"
Hildreth
of Melrose, Mary
Hildreth
of Stoneham, and the late Thomas and John
Hildreth
. He was the uncle of Debra Harvey and her husband Norman of Reading and their children, Joseph, Jeffrey, and James.
Matthew
is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday at 10 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 11 o'clock. A period of visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4 - 8 p.m.
Interment, will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
