Maureen Butler

Maureen Butler , age 62, of Wakefield formerly of Malden died Monday, February 18 at her residence.

Born in Boston on August 11, 1956 she was the daughter of Mary (Gill) Kavanaugh and the late Gilbert Kavanaugh.

Maureen was raised in Malden and was a graduate of Malden High School, Class of 1974. She had worked as a former transcriber in the medical filed. She had been the longtime caregiver to her late husband, George "Bobby" Butler .

Mrs. Butler was the wife of the late George "Bobby" Butler . She was the mother of Frederick Medugno III of Revere. She was the sister of Linda Kavanaugh of Littleton, NH, Michael Kavanaugh of Saugus, Joann Difilippis of Gilford, NH, Diane Doucette of Wakefield, and the late Kathleen Robak. She is also survived by her granddaughter Olivia Barton Medugno, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral Service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday at 11:30am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at 10am. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
