M. Frances Kenney

M. Frances Kenney a long time resident of Stoneham, died on Sunday October 5 at the Park Avenue Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Arlington.

Born in Lynn on November 9, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Thomas A. and Mary E. (Mooney) Brennan.

Mrs. Kenney was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Lynn, Class of 1934. She was a retired office manager for the Stoneham Housing Authority.

Mrs. Kenney had been a Stoneham resident since 1955 and was a member of St. Patrick Church.

She was the wife of the late Charles Kenney. She was the mother of Kristine Toomey and her husband Kevin of Stoneham and the late Elaine Kenney Karkos and the sister of William Brennan of GA and the late Thomas, John and George Brennan. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Kevin, Jr., Francie and Maggie.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Thursday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10 o'clock. Relative and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, in Medford.
