Michele Dignan

Michele M. Dignan, 59, a longtime resident of Wakefield, died on Monday, August 10 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

Born in Stoneham on August 1, 1950 she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Patricia (Pederson) Dignan.

Michele was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1969 and had worked at Walgreens in Stoneham.

She is survived by her longtime companion, Richard Roberts, two sons, Thomas Dignan and Richard Roberts, Jr., all of Wakefield, a brother, Patrick J. Dignan of Groveland and a sister Kathleen Dignan-Duchin of Tamworth, NH.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield on Saturday at 11:30am. Relatives and friends may call at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield prior to the mass from
9 to 11am.
