Michelina Fressa

Michelina Frezza, 83, of Wakefield died on Tuesday, August 24 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Born in Castellofranci, Avellino, Italy on May 4, 1927 she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Rosina (Schiavone) Tecce.

Mrs. Frezza had been a Wakefield resident since 1975. She had worked for L.B. Evans Shoe Company in Wakefield. Mrs. Frezza retired from APM Components of Wakefield. She was a member of St. Florence Church in Wakefield and enjoyed cooking.

Mrs. Frezza was the wife of the late Francesco Frezza. She was the mother of Salvatore A. Frezza of Salem, NH, Carmella Addonizio and her husband Stephen and Franca Hogan and her husband Daniel all of Wakefield. She was the sister of Maria Tecce and Vittorio Tecce and was predeceased by 6 other siblings. She was the grandmother of Michelle, Laura, Kristen, Cheryl, Stephen, Jr., Devon and Melissa.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield at 10 o'clock. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
