Mrs. Carol Trefry

Carol Trefry , 88, of Lynnfield died on Wednesday, January 22 at her residence.

Born in Quincy on June 7, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Davenport and Emma (Johnson) Jackson.

Mrs . Trefry was a graduate of North Quincy High School. She was a former fashion model for Filene's in Boston and she retired as a sales associate from Jordan Marsh in Peabody. Mrs . Trefry had also volunteered at the Lynn Union Hospital. She loved animals and in her younger days was an avid horseback rider.

She was the wife of the late Wellsford C. Trefry and the mother of late Joel C. Trefry . She is survived by her son David, his wife Cynthia and her family. She was the sister of the late Davenport "Laddie" Jackson, Jr. and the late Jane Abbot Jackson. Mrs . Trefry is also survived by sisters-in-law Virginia "Ginger" Jackson and Marjorie Spofford and many nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held at the Pine Grove Cemetery South 73 West Rd. Waterboro, ME on Saturday June 7 at 12 Noon. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
