Mrs Eileen Walsh

Eileen J. Walsh, 77, of Lynnfield, formerly of Wakefield died Thursday April 3, at the Beverly Hospital.

Born in Cambridge, October 17, 1936 she was the daughter of the late Patrick F. and Kathleen C. (O'Rourke) McCormack.

Eileen was a graduate of Girls Catholic High School in Malden. A former resident Wakefield she had been living in Lynnfield since 1996. Eileen was an Office Administrator at St. Maria Goretti Church in Lynnfield from 1983 to 2002, and later worked at the Senior Center in Lynnfield.

She was the wife of the late Joseph A. "Skip" Walsh, and is survived by her 3 children; Joseph A. Walsh, Jr and wife Tracy of Hanover, Kathleen M. Sweeney and fiance Shep Becker of Litchfield, NH and Kevin P. Walsh and wife Christine of Methuen. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Patrick, Katie, Jack, Daniel, Erin, Meghan, Zachery & Timothy.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield, on Monday at 9:00 a..m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Maria Goretti Church, 112 Chestnut St. Lynnfield at 10:00 o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 - 4 p.m.

Interment, Forest Hill Cemetery, Lynnfield.
