Mrs. Hazel Vancor

Hazel Jane Vancor , 79 of Lynnfield died February 5 after a brief illness. She was born September 22, 1934 to the late Joseph and Violet (Rumson) Kazukonis. Mrs . Vancor was raised in Chelsea and Malden and was a graduate of Malden High School and later from the Katherine Gibbs School of Boston. She had been a Lynnfield resident since 1960 and was a very active member of the Centre Congregational Church of Lynnfield and was also a member of the "Daughters of the Nile".

Mrs . Vancor was the beloved wife of the late Edwin R.Vancor. She was the loving mother of James R. Vancor and his wife Loretta and John C. Vancor and his wife Kimberly all of NH. She is also survived by her grandchildren Alanna Mazzola & husband Rich and Thomas and Emily Vancor . Also her great grandson Metteo Mazzola and her brother Wesley Nicholson.

Her funeral service will be held in the Centre Congregational Church 5 Summer St. Lynnfield Saturday at 11:00. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Friday from 4-8 pm. Interment will be at Elmore Cemetery in Lake Elmore, VT. Memorial contributions in Mrs . Vancor's name may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation P.O. Box 96546 Washington DC 20077-7222.
