Mrs. Janet Dones

Janet M . Dones , 45, a life long resident of Stoneham, died on Tuesday, February 4 at her home.

Born in Winchester of January 18, 1969 she was the loving daughter of Ruth A. (Collins) Cann of Stoneham and the late Robert A. Cann.

Janet was a graduate of Stoneham High School, Class of 1986. She had worked for the U.S. Postal Service and was a member of St. Patrick Church in Stoneham,

Janet was the beloved wife of the late Dean A. Dones and the devoted mother of Dean A. Dones , Jr and Meghan R. Dones of Stoneham. She was the sister of Thomas Hunt and his wife Lynn of AZ, Michael Hunt and his wife Patricia of Wakefield, Steven Hunt and his wife Laurie of Malden, Robert Cann, Jr. and his wife Linda of Pepperell, Colleen Yalcin and her husband Yusuf of Wilmington and the late Paul Cann. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Saturday at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 9 o'clock. A visitation for relatives and friend will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
