Mrs. Jean Silvestro

Jean Silvestro of Stoneham passed away on Thursday, December 25th at her home.

She was born in Everett on August 28, 1932 and was the daughter of the Lorenzo A. Smith and Muriel (Prince) Smith.

Jean was a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1950. She was a resident of Stoneham for 50 years, and was a member of St. Patrick Church. She was a talented poker player, and enjoyed playing at Seabrook, Foxwoods, and the senior center.

She was the beloved wife of the late John Silvestro . She was the loving mother of John Silvestro Jr. and wife Cindy of Stoneham, Sarina O'Keefe and husband Dan of Lynnfield, Evan Silvestro of Stoneham and Lori-Ann Kane and husband Tim of Millis. She was the loving grandmother of Sara, Paul, Jill, Alyssa, Timmy, Molly, and Morgan. Jean is also survived by her Sweetheart Joe DiBlasi of Peabody.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Wednesday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 29th from 4-8 p.m. Interment, Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
