Mrs. Ruth Wilkinson

Ruth V . Wilkinson , 84 a lifelong resident of Wakefield died unexpectedly at her home on Sunday August 30.

Born in Wakefield, July 8, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Peter and Anna (DeVeau) Malonson.

Ruth was raised and educated in Wakefield. She was a member of St. Joseph Church. She enjoyed baking, crossword puzzles, and was an avid reader. Ruth was a former employee of Guillows and Mystic Industries.

Ruth was the beloved wife of the late Richard E. Wilkinson . She was the devoted mother of Richard Wilkinson Jr. of Wakefield, Robert Wilkinson & wife Cathy of No. Reading, and John Wilkinson & wife Kelly Slater of Saugus. Sister of Robert Malonson and Mary Smith, both of Wakefield and the late Claire Goodwin, Doris Kelly, Frank Landry, Ethel Rosati, Everett Malonson and Mary Jane Malonson. Loving grandmother of David Wilkinson , Heather Pascucci, Matthew Pruneau, Jennilee Fennelly & husband Jesse and Michelle Wilkinson . Adoring great grandmother of Lydon & Sawyer Fennelly.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave Wakefield on Friday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10 o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-8pm.

Interment, Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
