Muriel MacDonald

Muriel Eveline MacDonald , 90 a resident of Wakefield died Tuesday September 22, at the Pilgrim Rehabilitation in Peabody.

Born in Wakefield, November 23, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Robert P. and Estella A. (Laramore) MacDonald .

Ms. MacDonald was a graduate of Wakefield High School class of 1942 and Fisher Junior College. She worked for many years as the executive secretary for the Wakefield Savings Bank before her retirement in 1986. She was a lifelong member and the oldest living member of the Wakefield- Lynnfield United Methodist Church.

Ms. MacDonald is survived by several cousins.

Her funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield. There are no calling hours.
