Nancy Ann Holmes , 79 of Lynnfield, formerly of W. Peabody died peacefully on Monday June 24, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Born in Malden, May 23, 1934 she was the daughter of the late Raymond E. and Florence B. Mitchell.

Nancy was a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1952. She was retired from the Sears Roebuck Company where she worked as an assistant Auditor.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends

Nancy was the wife of the late David H. Holmes . She is survived by her 3 children; Deborah Ring and her husband Timothy of Woburn, Sherrill Hayter and her husband Charles of No. Reading and Lisa Masella and her husband Donald of Salem, and her sister Jeanne Jankowski of Melrose. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren; David Ring and his partner Robert Bannister, III of Washington DC, John Ring of Atlanta, GA Kathryn Worden and her husband Dane of Wakefield, Christopher and Melissa Hayter of Bradford, Carolyn Kuehnel and her husband Paul of No. Attleboro and Jessica and Jesse Heindel of Hallem, PA and one great grandson Bentley Hayter.

A funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday at 9 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Interment, Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.

Contributions may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 76 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923.
