Nancy Carlson

Nancy Carlson, 71, of Lynnfield died on Saturday, April 16 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Born in Worcester on May 3, 1939, she was the daughter of the late George and Myrtle (MacDonald) Krumsiek.

Nancy was a graduate of Commerce High School in Worcester. She received her nursing degree from the State Practical Nursing School. She also graduated from North Shore Community College where she studied physical therapy. She was a retired nurse at the Lynn Union Hospital and had been a Lynnfield resident for the past 45 years.

Nancy was the mother of Joanne L. Carlson of Lynn and Brian R.Carlson of No. Reading. She was the grandmother of Rudy, Owen, and John Carlson. She was the former wife of Rudolph F. Carlson of Westboro and sister of the late Margaret Carelli, Theresa Mansour, Patricia Brough, and Gertrude Secor.

A Funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday at 12 noon. A period of visitation will be held at the Funeral Home prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 12 noon.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923.
