Nancy Alves

Nancy J. Alves , 54, of Medford died on Saturday, September 29 at the Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston.

Born in Lowell on Dercmeber 26, 1957 she was the daughter of Natalie (Thompson) Alves of Stoneham and the late Theodore P. Alves .

Nancy had been a Medford resident for the past 20 years. She was a graduate of Essex Agriculture & Technical High School in Danvers and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Nancy had been a Home Health Aid for Medford VNA.

In addition to her mother, Nancy is survived by her brother Ted Alves of Potomac, Maryland, her four sisters; Ellen Brezinski and her husband Tom of Shelburne Falls, Donna Higgins and her husband Chuck of McKinney, Texas, Karen Alves and her husband Jon Wescott of Medway and Michele Salerno and her husband Robert of Stoneham and her cherished friend Perry Jenkins. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held in the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St, Stoneham on Wednesday at 7pm. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home prior to the service starting at 4pm.
