Natalie Melanson

Natalie E. Melanson, 87, of Wakefield died on Monday, August 8 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Born in Winchester on September 19, 1923 she was the daughter of the late James E. and Josephine (Olson) Cutcliffe.

Natalie was a graduate of Reading High School, Class of 1941. She had been a Wakefield resident for over 60 years and was a member of St. Joseph parish. Natalie enjoyed her family and spending time at York Beach, Maine.

Natalie was the wife of the late James H. Melanson. She was the mother of Diane M. Moses and her husband Eldon and Cynthia A. Murray and her husband John, all of Wakefield, Debra E. Raimo and her husband Harry of Tampa, FL and James E. Melanson and his wife Ann Marie of Reading. She was the sister of the late Walter, J. Edward, Winthrop, Woodrow and Kenneth Cutcliffe, and Doris Schneider. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10 o'clock. A visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 - 8 p.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
