Nicolletta Crowley

Nicolletta M "Lena" Crowley, 72, of Wakefield, formerly of Stoneham and Somerville died on Monday, June 11 at the Winchester Hospital.

Born in Cambridge on December 8, 1939 she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Florence (Gentile) Ferrone.

Mrs. Crowley was a graduate of Somerville High School, Class of 1957. She was a former Administrative Assistant for Cooper Industries in Chelsea.

Mrs. Crowley was a member of St. Florence Church in Wakefield. She was an avid Red Sox Fan and enjoyed shopping. She was also active in American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.

Mrs. Crowley was the loving wife of John P. Crowley. She was the devoted mother of Joseph R. Guariglia and his wife Laureen of Newton, Diane M. Norton and her husband Thomas of Stoneham, and Karen L. Bieren and her husband James of Tewksbury. She was the sister of Guy "Sonny" Ferrone of FL and the loving Nonnie of Matthew, Kevin, and James Guariglia, Alyssa and Tommy Norton, and Jack Bieren.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Friday at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield at 10 o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be private.
