Norma Lefave

Norma I . LeFave , 81, of Middleton formerly a long time Wakefield resident, died on Saturday, March 7 at the Beverly Hospital.

Born in on September 15, 1927 she was the daughter of the late Neils and Inger (Bjerre) Knudsen.

Mrs. Lefave was a graduate of Stoneham High School. She was a retired secretary for the former Sylvania Company in Wakefield and Addison & Wesley Publishing Company in Reading. Mrs. LeFave was a former member of the Wakefield-Lynnfield United Methodist Church in Wakefield and was a member of the West Social Club in Wakefield.

She was the wife of the late Louis LeFave . Mrs. LeFave is survived by her two daughters; Karen A. Livangood & her husband Howard of Groton and Kathy A. Spinney of Everett, two grandsons; Stephen and Jonathan and her sister; Barbara Rogan of Falmouth. She was predeceased by her brother Neil Knudsen and her three sisters; Betty Allen, June DeBerardinis and Ruth MacGregor.

A funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Saturday at 3pm. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home prior to the service starting at 1pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VA Hospital Volunteer Service, 200 Springs Rd, Bedford, MA 01730.
