Norman Newhall

Norman A . Newhall , 84 of Naples, Florida formerly of Lynnfield died on Monday, July 1 at the Naples Community Hospital.

Born in Peabody on April 16, 1930 he was the son of the late Albert F. and Mabel F. (Harding) Newhall .

Mr. Newhall was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1948, Bentley College, Class of 1950 and Northeastern University. He was a member of the Lynnfield Masonic Lodge. Mr. Newhall served in the Unites States Marine Corps during the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years Phyllis (Howell) Newhall , his two daughters; Karen L. Mathews and her husband Doug of Middleton and Linda J. Newton and her husband Jack of Lynnfield, his son Robert E. Newhall and his wife Miyuki of Cupertino, California and his sister Audrey Galpin of Newburyport. Mr. Newhall is also survived by his 6 grandchildren; Dana Bloom, Brian Mathews, Mary and Jennifer Krieger, Taylor Armstrong and Andrew Newhall and his three great grandchildren; Ava Bloom, Aiden Krieger, Adison Armstrong. He was predeceased by his three brothers; Donald, Larry and Robert Newhall .

A funeral service will be held in the Centre Congregational Church, 5 Summer St. on Wednesday at 10:00 A .M. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday from 4 - 8 P.M. Interment will be at Willow Cemetery in Lynnfield. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Friends of Donald F. Newhall Memorial Park Trust, PO Box 642, Lynnfield, MA 01940
