Olive Wood

Olive Glenna Morrison Wood , 91, of Reading and a longtime Lynnfield resident, died on Thursday, January 12 at the Woodbriar at Wilmington.

Born in Everett on December 7, 1920 she was the daughter of the late William A. and Florence (Kramer) Morrison.

Mrs. Wood was a graduate of Everett High School and later attended Secretarial School. She had worked for John Hancock Insurance Co. in Boston and Sears & Roebuck Department Store in Saugus.

Mrs. Wood was a member of the Centre Congregational Church in Lynnfield and was also a member of the Eastern Star and Center Club of Lynnfield.

She was the beloved wife of Carl W. Wood . She was the loving mother of Robert C. Wood and his wife Annie Ying and Cynthia Schaeffer and her husband Daniel all of Haverhill. She was the cherished grandmother of Alec S. Leung and Christopher Schaeffer.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Centre Congregational Church, 5 Summer St., Lynnfield on Saturday, January 21 at 1 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
