Patricia A . O'Keefe , 62, a lifelong resident of Wakefield, died Tuesday, September 10 at her home.

Born in Malden on November 29, 1950 she was the daughter of Ruth (McDonough) Mogan of Burlington, formerly of Wakefield and the late Arthur Mogan.

Patricia was a graduate of Nazareth Academy, Class of 1968 and later a graduate of Salem State College, Class of 1972. She was a member of St. Joseph Church. Patricia was a longtime teacher for the Wakefield Public School system, teaching at both the elementary level and at the Galvin Middle School. She was also a member of Bear Hill Country Club.

In addition to her mother, Patricia is survived by her husband Patrick J. O'Keefe . She was the mother of Brendan P. O'Keefe of Wakefield, Conor M. O'Keefe and his wife Beth of Melrose, and Kathleen P. O'Keefe Rogers and her husband Matt of Arlington. She was the sister of Maureen Hearn of FL, Kathleen Corcoran of Winchester, Richard Mogan of Wakefield, Robert Mogan of TN, and the late Paul and Christopher Mogan. She is also survived by her grandson Wesley A . O'Keefe .

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Monday at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 11:30 a.m. A visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery.
