Patricia M. Fantasia, age 70, of No. Andover, formerly of Stoneham, passed away Saturday, July 29 at the Baker-Katz Nursing Home in Haverhill after a 3 year battle with Small Cell Lung Cancer.
Born in Somerville on September 28, 1946 she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Margaret M. (Bunting) Bornstein.
Patricia was raised in Stoneham and was a graduate of Stoneham High School, Class of 1964. She then went on to attend hairdressing school. Patricia had a love of gambling and enjoyed time spent at Mohegan Sun, Foxwood, Plainville and trips to Vegas. She had lived in Florida for 15 years prior to moving home to Massachusetts to be with her family.
She was the beloved mother of David Balestrier of Woburn, Danny Balestrier of No. Andover, and Wendi Davidson of No. Andover. She was the loving sister of Margaret Surette of Londonderry, NH, Sandi Holmes and her husband Jim of Methuen, the late Paul Bornstein and the late Barbara Nicholas. She was the adoring grandmother of Josh Davidson of Chelmsford and Bryan Davidson of Danvers. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Graveside Service will be held at Lindenwood Cemetery, Montvale Ave., Stoneham on Saturday, August 5th at 11am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
