Patricia Curran

Patricia M . Curran , 74, of Wakefield died on Saturday, March 24 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

Born in Peabody on May 2, 1937 she was the daughter of the late John J. and Mildred F. (Murphy) Healey.

Mrs. Curran was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School, Class of 1954. She had been a Wakefield resident since 1976 and had worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Wakefield Municipal Light Department. Mrs. Curran was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Wakefield. She enjoyed spending time with her family, taking family trips to Disney World and playing golf with her husband and friends.

Mrs. Curran was the loving wife of Donald P. "Bucko" Curran . Devoted and loving mother of Patrick Curran and his wife Pamela, John J. "Jack" Curran and his wife Elizabeth, John Narkun and his wife Karin, Dawn Demars and her husband Robert all of Wakefield, James Narkun and his wife Elizabeth of Milton, NH, Kelly Norwood and her husband Skip of North Andover and the late Holly Lyn Narkun. She treasured her 11 grandchildren; Nicholas Botta, Sean Narkun, Jennifer, Brittany and Eric Weaver, Lyndsay Demars, Katherine, Jack, Colleen, and Daniel Curran , Samantha Curran , and four great children. Cherished sister of Bernard Healey and Eileen Palmacci both of Florida and the late Jack Healey of Texas.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Wednesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church 173 Albion St, Wakefield at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-8pm. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 460 Totten Pond Rd, Suite 400, Waltham, MA 02451
