Patricia McCarthy

Patricia A. McCarthy, 68 of Somerville died Wednesday, August 26 after a long period of failing health. She was born in Everett, MA on October 28, 1946 and was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Mildred E. (Post) Adams. Mrs. McCarthy was raised in Wilmington and was a graduate of Wilmington High School. With her husband Paul she operated ScottieConnection.com. She also enjoyed Arts and Crafts.

Mrs. McCarthy was the beloved wife of Paul I. McCarthy, Jr. She was also the loving mother of Karen McCarthy and her wife Maria Chandler of Gloucester. She was the sister of Charles Adams, Jr. and wife Mary Lou of CO and Cathy Jalbert of FL. She was the sister-in-law of Joyce Previs and her husband Robert of CT and Mary Patrice McCarthy and her husband Bruce Kraushaar of CT. She is also survived by her cousins Winifred Lawn, John Shields, Michael Shields and wife Barbara Bock, all of MA and Mary Jane Buttner of MI. She also leaves behind her beloved Scottish Terriers: Murphy and Alexander.

A private Graveside Service was held at Lindenwood Cemetery in Stoneham.
