Patricia Palermo

Patricia Ruth (Coneeny) Palermo longtime resident of Stoneham, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on April 13, 2020. Beloved wife of Joseph Palermo , and mother of Catherine (Bob) Lundman, Judith Petitti, Patricia (Ken) Swasey, Robert (Donna) Palermo , Michael (Joanne) Palermo , Virginia (George) Gifford, John (Julie) Palermo , Elizabeth (Mike) Stephens, David (Lisa) Palermo , Susan Palermo , Timothy (Mary) Palermo , Joanne (Anoush) Hadaegh, Christopher (Jill) Palermo and Paul (Spring) Palermo .

Born October 1, 1927 in Somerville, Massachusetts to Harold Coneeny and Margaret (Donovan) Coneeny, the 5th of 8 children and loving sister to Margaret Cummings, Dorothy Morse, Virginia Maples, John Coneeny, Francis Coneeny, Harold Coneeny and Elizabeth Noone. Pat married Joe Palermo in June, 1947 and gave birth to 15 children. She was predeceased by infant son Joseph, husband Joseph and 2 grandchildren, James Palermo and Laurie Palermo . Ma (Grandma Pat) leaves behind an amazing legacy…14 surviving children, their spouses, 38 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Nothing gave her more happiness than a rocking chair, a baby in her arms and softy singing an Irish lullaby.

Graveside blessing and burial for immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital (www.sjcrh.org), Care Dimensions, Hospice of the North Shore (www.CareDimensions.org) or a favorite charity.
