Paul Fallon

Paul J. Fallon, 80, of Lynn, formerly of Malden and a longtime resident of Wakefield died on Thursday, March 21 at the Bear Hill Nursing Center in Wakefield.

Born in Brighton on March 9, 1933 he was the son of the late Francis and Gertrude (Whelan) Fallon.

Paul was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Waltham and Boston College (ROTC). He was a retired Insurance Adjuster for the Archdiocese of Boston.

Paul was a member of the Order of the Sons of Italy Wakefield Lodge 1734, Vittorio-Rocci Italian American Veteran's Post 56, the Crystal Community Club and the Knights of Columbus in Wakefield. He was also active in Wakefield Little League.

Paul was the husband of Catherine (Todisco) Fallon and the late Kathleen (Regan) Fallon. He was the father of Paul F. Fallon, M.D. and his wife Catherine of Wakefield, Brian M. Fallon and his wife Rita of Westwood, Patricia A. Desrocher and her husband Richard of Wakefield and John P. Fallon and his wife Stacy of Middleton. He was the brother of the late Marjorie Dobson, Frederick Fallon, Claire Hegarty, Fr. Francis Fallon, James Fallon and John Fallon. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Monday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Maria Goretti Church, 112 Chestnut St., Lynnfield at 10 a.m. A visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
