, 83, a life long Wakefield resident died Saturday, October 24 at the Golden Living Center-Chetwynde in Newton.
Born in Wakefield on February 5, 1926, he was the son of the late Maurice and Gladys (Ring)

Mr.
Lenfest
was a World War II United States Marine Corps Veteran. He was the owner of Woodville Service in Wakefield and was the president of the Woodville Service Social Club. Mr.
Lenfest
was also a member of the Wakefield Elks, the Crystal Community Club and a life member of the Marine Corps League.
He is survived by his wife Anna (Ventura)

, his two daughters; Sharon McCarthy of Wakefield and Paula Casterella and her husband Bill of Westbrook, ME, his sister Joan Buzzell of Alaska and his two grandchildren; Brianne McCarthy and Bryan Casterella. Mr.
Lenfest
was predeceased by his brother David
Lenfest
and his sister Audrey Buzzell.
A funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Thursday at 11am. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-8pm. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 311 Arsenal St, Watertown, MA 02472.
