Paul A. Salerno, 65, a life long resident of Stoneham died on Tuesday, February 28 at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in West Roxbury.
Born in Boston on June 28, 1946 he was the son of the late Alphonse and Shirley (McBride) Salerno.
Paul was a graduate of Stoneham High School, Class of 1965. He served his country in the US Army during Vietnam. He was the former owner of Nicks Uniform in Medford and a member of St. Patrick Church in Stoneham. Paul loved baseball and was an avid fisherman.
Paul was the brother of Sandra Belfer and Carol Mack and her husband Richard all of FL, Joseph Salerno and his wife Diane of Billerica, and Robert Salerno and his wife Michele of Stoneham. He is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St. Stoneham on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home prior to the service from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Interment will be private.
