Paul Joseph Sculley , age 77, of Stoneham, died April 14 at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington.
Born in Melrose on March 17, 1945 he was the son of the late Joseph F. and Dorothy (East) Sculley .
Mr. Sculley was raised in Stoneham and was a graduate of Stoneham High School. He received his undergraduate degree in physical education from UMass Amherst, a master's in counseling from Salem State University, and a certificate of advanced graduate studies from Northeastern. He spent his career at the Stoneham Junior High School from 1969-1982, first spending many years as a teacher and ultimately retiring as a guidance counselor. Mr. Sculley was an avid golfer and enjoyed frequenting many local courses.
He is survived by his brothers John Sculley and his wife Kathryn of Sequim, WA and Richard Sculley and his wife Sonia of Sacramento, CA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his best friend Paul Means of Stoneham.
A private burial was held at Saint Patrick Cemetery in Stoneham. Arrangements were in the care of the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, Stoneham.
