Paul White

Paul E. White, 80, of Fort Myers, FL, formerly of Wakefield, died on Thursday, December 30 at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.

Born in Melrose on May 28, 1930 he was the son of the late Francis E. and Elizabeth (Gutro) White.

Mr. White was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School. He later attended Wentworth Institute in Boston. He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and later served in the Massachusetts National Guard. He was a retired building contractor.

Mr. White was a member of the Wakefield Lodge of Elks and The American Legion at Fort Myers, FL.

Mr. White was the husband of Barbara A. (Guttadauro) with whom he shared 57 years of marriage. He was the father of Michael F. White and his wife Pam of Georgetown, Cynthia A. Cipollo and her husband James of Wakefield and Susan E. St. Pierre and her husband Roger of Livermore, ME. He was the brother of Elizabeth Moreno of Woburn and the late Frances Calvo. He was the grandfather of Jennifer and Andrea St. Pierre, Austin and Alana White, Paul Robertson and Zachary Cipollo.

A visitation for relatives and friend will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Monday from 3 to 6 p.m. Funeral services will be private
