Pauline Sweeney

Pauline (Fraughton) Sweeney of Stoneham, MA passed away May 15, 2020 at age 98. She was the wife of the late Hugh Sweeney who passed away in October 2019 at the age of 100.

Pauline was born August 27, 1921 and grew up in Wakefield, MA. She was the daughter of the late Emery Fraughton and Delsie (Muise) Fraughton. She moved to Stoneham, MA in 1963 after marrying Hugh.

Pauline worked as an Administrative Secretary for over 35 years for both L.E. Muran Stationers in Boston, MA and Lawson's Tool and Manufacturing in Malden, MA.

Pauline is survived by her loving nieces and nephews Diane (Pottier) Frost of Sandwich, MA, Arthur (Skipper) Fraughton of Worcester, MA, Lee (Fraughton) McInerney of N. Reading, MA, Lisa (Fraughton) Varela of Westbrook, ME, John Andrew (Drew) Fraughton of MA, Terese (Turney) Ajer of Lake Forest Park, WA and many other Great nieces and nephews.

Pauline was predeceased by her brothers Everett Fraughton and Gerald Fraughton, sister Bernice (Fraughton) Pottier and niece Marcia (Pottier) Cook.

Funeral Services will be private. A burial will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne MA.
