Peter J. Verdone, 44, of Stoneham died on Sunday, August 3.
Born in Malden, Mr. Verdone was a graduate of Stoneham High School, Class of 1982. He was the former owner of Little Italy Café Ristorante in Wakefield, the current owner of A+ Home Restoration & Construction Company and also employed at Dan's Auto Body in North Reading.
He was the beloved husband of Tania Gerrior-Verdone. The loving and devoted son of Frank and Linda (DeFelice) Verdone of Stoneham and the loving brother of Maria Lane, her husband Bruce, and their children Michelle and Joey of Mission Viejo, CA. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at the First Parish Congregational Church, 1 Church Street, Wakefield on Friday at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours at the First Parish Congregational Church this Thursday from 4 to 8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that contributions be made to the Peter J. Verdone Scholarship Fund, c/o Wakefield C.S.F., P.O. Box 321, Wakefield, MA 01880.
Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
