Phillip A. Kuhn, a Stoneham resident for the past 37 years, died Sunday April 26 at age 69. Born in Arlington on July 12, 1939 he was the son of the late Charles D. and Marguerite (Rich) Kuhn.
Mr. Kuhn was raised in Arlington and was a graduate of Arlington High School. He later earned his Bachelors degree from Northeastern University and also an Associates degree from Wentworth Institute. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.
Before his retirement Mr. Kuhn had served as a Vice President with Polaroid Corporation and Beckman Instruments. He had also worked for Varian in Gloucester and the Eaton Corporation in Beverly.
Mr. Kuhn is survived by his beloved wife Doris (Wolbert) Kuhn . He was also the loving father of David A. and Pamela S. Kuhn both of Stoneham. He was the brother of Charles D. Kuhn of Lynn and Leonard A. Kuhn of FL. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
His funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home 322 Main St. Stoneham on Thursday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10:00. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday 4-8pm.
