Phillis Pamp

Phillis D. Pamp, 94, of Wakefield died Friday, December 12 at the Daniels House Nursing Home in Reading.

Born in Boston on July 7, 1914 she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Lena Arnesen.

Mrs. Pamp had been a Wakefield resident since 1939. She was a graduate of Medford High School, Class of 1932. Mrs. Pamp was a member of the VASA organization in Boston, the Swedish Square & Compass Club and the First Parish Congregational Church in Wakefield. She also enjoyed traveling.

Mrs. Pamp was the wife of the late Axel H. Pamp (Former superintendent of Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett). She is survived by her son David R. Pamp of Billerica, two daughters; Beverly A. Delaney and her husband James of Reading and June L. Murphy and her husband Harry of Melrose. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren; Timothy J. Murphy, Kristen Murphy, Kate Delaney and Meredith Pamp.

A funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Monday at 11 AM. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home prior to the service starting at 10 AM. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Daniel's House Nursing Home, Activity Fund, 59 Middlesex Ave, Reading, MA 01867.
