Phyllis Dalton

Phyllis M . Dalton , 74, a life long resident of Wakefield died on Monday, February 2 at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington.

Born in Wakefield on November 15, 1933 she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mildred (Williams) Melonson.

Mrs. Dalton was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1950. She was a retired File Clerk for American Mutual Insurance Company and a member of St. Joseph Church in Wakefield.

Mrs. Dalton was the wife of the late William H. Dalton . She was the mother of Cheryl Dalton , Timothy Dalton and his wife Leah of Wakefield and William H. Dalton Jr. and his wife Debra of Reading. She was the sister of Elsie Robbins of Reading and the grandmother of Anthony, Patrick, Jessica and Jordyn.

A Funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday at 11 AM. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 to 8 PM. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
