Phyllis Pace

After a full and loving life, Phyllis T. (Taibbi) Pace, 84, passed away on June 9th at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center with her family by her side. She had bravely fought Interstitial Lung Disease.

Phyllis was a lifelong resident of Wakefield. She was the cherished wife and soulmate of Anthony Pace for 63 years. She was the devoted mother and best friend of her only daughter, Suzanne Hall. In addition, she is survived by her sisters-in-law Joan Taibbi and Donna Pace, along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Phyllis was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Frank Taibbi, brothers Rocco and Joseph Taibbi and sister Sylvia Beaulieu.

She worked as an executive secretary in Human Resources and later as an administrative assistant for 45 years. Phyllis was blessed with a perfect balance of family and career.

She was admired for her gentle soul, quiet wisdom and ability to listen with her heart. She will be forever missed by all who knew her. At Phyllis' request, a small private service was held at St. Florence Church through the McDonald Funeral Home in Wakefield.
