Phyllis Stone

Phyllis E. Stone, 63 of Tewksbury and formerly of Stoneham died Saturday November 21 in Boston after a sudden illness. She was born in Everett on August 17, 1952 and was the daughter of Marion E. (Davis) Stone and the late Philip J. Stone. Phyllis was raised in Stoneham and was a graduate of Stoneham High School, Class of 1970. She later graduated from Fisher College and earned her Master's Degree from Regis College. She was the Director of Social Work and Clinical Admissions at Tewksbury State Hospital and was also the President of the Board of Trustees at Emerald Court of Tewksbury. She enjoyed travel and was a devoted sister and friend to many. She will be missed by all.

In addition to her mother Phyllis is survived by her brother David P. Stone of Peabody and his fiancé Corinne Cronin and Christine A. Feehan and her husband Tom of Milford, NH. She was the aunt of Denielle Babey and husband George and Philip Stone and was the great aunt of Henry and Benjamin Babey. She is also survived by many other loving relatives and dear friends. She will be missed by all.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home 322 Main St. on Tuesday December 1 at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10:00. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday from 4-8pm.
