Rae H. Foley, 57, of Stoneham, died peacefully on Monday, September 21 after a brief illness of Pulmonary Fibrosis.
Rae was born in Chelsea to parents Martha and Alfred Levy. She was a graduate of Everett High School's class of 1970. She later worked as a case manager for Blue Cross and Blue Shield and was working in a similar role at the Whidden Hospital at the time of her death.
Rae loved taking long drives with her husband, Edward "Buster" Foley, and their dog, Max. She looked forward to summers at LSVR, lazing in the sun and playing cards with her closest friends. Rae loved the Cape, where she spent time with her sister, Kathy, niece Lindsey and nephew, Michael. She enjoyed traveling to visit her daughter, Stacey, son-in-law Ron and her two grandchildren, Jordan (8) and Ally (8 months) in Nashville, Tennessee. Most recently, Rae, found pleasure in helping her daughter, Shannon, and son-in-law, Chris, plan and prepare for their summer wedding.
A celebration of Rae's life is planned for October 3 at 1pm at her home at 16 Kenneth Terrace, Stoneham, MA.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution can be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation 1332 N. Halstead St. Suite 201, Chicago IL. 60642-2642.
