Ralph A. Denehy, 84 a longtime resident of Stoneham died Saturday January 14, at his daughter Karen's home in Nashua, NH.

Born in Boston, December 14, 1927 he was the son of the late Timothy and Sarah (McCarthy) Denehy.

Ralph was a graduate of Charlestown High School. He had been a Stoneham resident since 1967. He was retired from the MBTA where he worked as a Driver and Stocker. Ralph was an WW II Army veteran and a member of St. Patrick Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Ralph was the husband of the late Bernadette (Powers) Denehy. He was the father of Mary A. Pierce and her partner John Fagan of New Durham, NH, Robert E. Denehy and his wife Kathy of Lowell, Karen M. Mulhern and her husband Brad of Nashua, NH, Christine M. Corsetti and her husband Anthony of Methuen, and the late Brian T. Denehy, and Stephen Denehy. Ralph was the brother of Joseph Denehy of Stoneham and the late Margaret Malone and Charles Denehy. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Mr. Denehy was preceded in death by his grandson Joseph Pierce.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick church, 71 Central St., Stoneham on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Visitation for family and friends will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham, prior to the Mass from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.

Interment, Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
