Raymond Orben, Jr.

Raymond "Junior" H. Orben, Jr., 73, of Merrimack, NH formerly a long time resident of Wakefield died Monday, December 27 after a long battle with heart disease.

Born in Wakefield on October 8, 1937 he was the son of the late Raymond H. and Gladys E. (DeRenne) Orben. He was raised in Maine and had worked as a self employed auto mechanic.

Mr. Orben is survived by wife Linda (Russ). He was the father of Paul, Steven, Douglas, David, Susan and Darlene. He was the brother of Arline Dunnells, Patricia Mederios, Lionel, Roger, Truman, Leroy, and Kevin Orben and the late Glennis Boulay, Gloria Morris, and Barbara Dingle. He is also survived by several grandchildren.

His funeral will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday at 11 o'clock. A visitation for relatives and friends will be held prior to the service from 10-11am. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
