Raymond Patalano

Raymond Patalano of Stoneham, age 67 died Monday April 12 at his home.

Born in Gaeta, Italy on November 29, 1942 he was the son of Luisa (Grafo) Patalano of Stoneham and the late Mario Patalano . Mr. Patalano came to the United States at age 14 and made his home in Somerville before moving to Stoneham. He was a long time employee of Star Market of Everett where he was the Deli Manager and later worked for Shaw's Supermarket of Stoneham. He had also served in the Massachusetts National Guard.

In addition to his mother Mr. Patalano is survived by his wife of 41 years Tina ( Patalano ). He was the father of Mario Patalano & his wife Melissa of N. Reading, Josie Benassi & husband Joe and John Patalano & wife Kristina all of Reading. He is also survived by his brother Sal Patalano of Nashua, NH and his 5 grandchildren.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home 322 Main St. Stoneham Thursday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10:00. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday 4-8pm. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery in Stoneham.
