Richard White

Richard F . White , 89, of Wakefield died on Thursday, July 10 at the Winchester Hospital.

Born in Reading on November 11, 1924 he was the son of the late Thomas and Winifred (Burbine) White .

Mr. White was raised and educated in Reading. He had worked as a truck driver and warehouse worker for the Elks Spring Beverage Co. of Wakefield for 30 years and also 12 years for the Pepsi Co. Mr. White had been a member of St. Florence Parish in Wakefield.

Mr. White was the husband of Lillian M. (Holt) White , with whom he shared 67 years of marriage. He is survived by his sisters-in-law, Beverly White of Gloucester and Mary Laura White of Peabody. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. White is predeceased by his two brothers, Douglas White and Gordon White , and his three sisters; Mary Muise, Gertrude Knight and Phyllis Stewart.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave Wakefield on Monday at 9:00 A.M. followed by a funeral mass in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave. at 10 o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 1-4pm. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
