Richard Goggin

Richard M. Goggin, 73 a longtime resident of Peabody died Sunday October 2, at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center.

Born in Chelsea, MA April 10, 1943 he was the son of the late Richard J. and Catherine (Gilllen) Goggin.

Richard was raised in East Boston. He was a graduate of Boston English High School and Northeastern University. He was retired as a Controller for Haverhill Family Practice. His favorite pastime was traveling with his wife Anne.

Richard was the beloved husband of Anne (Podeiko) Goggin. He was the loving father of Kimberlee Mineo and husband David of Lynnfield and Richard E. Goggin of Peabody. Brother of Kenneth Goggin of FL. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Haley and David Mineo.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Adelaide Church, 708 Lowell St., Peabody at 10:30 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
