Richard Hatfield

Richard K. Hatfield , 58, of Lynnfield died Sunday, August 4 at Lahey Clinic in Burlington.

Born in Melrose on April 4, 1955 he was the son of the late Kenneth R. and Marjorie (Connell) Hatfield .

Mr. Hatfield was a graduate of Lynnfield High School; Class of 1974 and later went on to graduate from Essex Agricultural School in 1976. He was a member of the Centre Congregational Church of Lynnfield and was active in the town's youth soccer program. Most recently, he had worked as the Director of Operations for Waltham Services.

Mr. Hatfield was the husband of the late Susan E. (Ruderman). He was the father of Sarah E. Hatfield of Charlestown and Justin K. Hatfield of Lynnfield. He was the brother of Sally Mucica of North Andover.

A funeral service will be held at the Centre Congregational Church, 5 Summer Street, Lynnfield on Thursday at 11 o'clock. A visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday from 4-8pm.
