, 65, a life long resident of Wakefield, died on Sunday, August 28 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.
Born in Winchester on September 18, 1945 he was the son of the late Dennis P. and Mary E. (McGrail)

Mr.
Hogan
was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1964. He had retired from the former American Mutual Insurance Co. in Wakefield.
He was a member of the Wakefield Council #104 Knights of Columbus and the West Side Social Club in Wakefield.

Hogan
was the twin brother of Dennis P.
Hogan
, Jr. and his wife Sandra of Wakefield and the late Mary R. Collins. He was the uncle of Paula
J
.
Hogan
and John P.
Hogan
. He is also survived by 4 great nieces and nephews and many cousins.
His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery in Stoneham.
